It was in 1928 that Charles Baechler, who had left Switzerland with his wife and 5 children, arrived on the banks of the Lot with a herd of cows and his experience as a cheese maker. Today it is the 5th generation that perpetuates his passion, ancestral tradition and artisanal know-how. In the shop, you will be seduced by the flagship, the emblem of the cheese dairy matured for at least 12 months, the soft and melting Tomme d'Aquitaine, the different raclette specialities (plain, white wine, garlic and herbs, chilli pepper) or by the peasant woman, very rich in taste. Don't forget also the by-products such as cream and especially butter, sweet or salted, which will give a very different taste to your toasts or cakes!
