Probably introduced by the Romans, the Agen tulip is a rare and threatened species in France. Scarlet red, it grows in quantity in the plum orchard and vineyards. The CEN Nouvelle-Aquitaine organizes a tulip walk every year, at the end of March, to observe this wild flower that has become rare and threatened.
