The Castelmoron-sur-Lot bridge was built between 1931 and 1934 by the French branch of the Danish firm Christiani & Nielsen. It replaces a mid-19th-century ashlar toll suspension bridge. The bow-string structure comprises two parallel reinforced concrete arches with triangulated joints, supporting the 143 m-long suspension deck.
