The mill, the bridge, the Lède river... serve as a backdrop to the discovery of Saint-Front-sur-Lémance. The original construction of the church dates back to the Romanesque period. It probably consisted of a single nave ending in a cul-de-four apse and two transept arms onto which two apsidioles must have opened. What remains of the Romanesque ornamentation suggests that the building was originally richly decorated. The door pierced in the gable of the façade dates from the 16th century. Two vaulted rooms are built above the vaults of the sanctuary. A crenellated terrace must have served both as a bell tower and as a lookout's cubbyhole.
